Happy Easter everyone! I decided to start fresh with this blog and I deleted the few old posts I had on here. I have 48 days until I graduate and recieve my bfa! I'm really feeling the impending change today. I'm excited, scared, and full of nervous energy. I have so much school work to do but I also need to start looking more for job oportunities, places to live, and a studio. My hopes and aims for this blog are to document my life as an emerging artist, share my knowledge and experiences and meet other creative people. I think having a place to reflect and share everything will really help me see things clearly.
I started a few new paintings for my thesis. I'm really loving the size of the two large panels. I'll have to post a couple of in progress pictures on here. Tomorrow I have to hand in my painting
Everett Mansion for the senior ICA show.
I can't wait to see the show. All the work I've been seeing from my class has been really great so it should be pretty interesting. Well, I'd love to write some more but I should probably get some work done while I'm here at school. Have a great sunday!
